Cancer affects so many of us and you may not know that my wife Michelle is a 7-year survivor. We are so grateful for the care she received at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven.
On September 9th, I will be participating in the 7th annual Closer to Free Ride for Smilow. This is my second year participating and I look forward to riding 10 miles alongside Michelle and our ten-year-old son, Craig.
Our team is called Pink Pedals. We’ll be decorating our bikes with pink ribbons that include names of survivors, friends and family who continue to battle this brutal disease and those who have lost the fight. We will honor them all as we ride!
I truly appreciated your support last year and hope you will consider donating to this worthwhile cause once again. 100% of the money I raise for the Closer to Free Ride will directly support patient care and research at Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center. I have committed to raising $500 and I hope you’ll help me reach or even exceed that goal.
Smilow is Southern New England’s premier cancer hospital treating more cancer patients than any other hospital in Connecticut. Yale Cancer Center boasts a team of leaders in cancer research and care. We are so thankful for the care Michelle received and are proud to participate in this ride which is their signature fundraising event.
Thank you for your support!
